Sayyed Nasrallah: Hezbollah Wages in Syria War of Existence, Not of Privileges

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah asserted that the party is waging in Syria a war of Lebanon’s, Syria’s and Palestine’s existence, not of private privileges.

During the memorial ceremony for Martyr Commander Hassan Lakkis  at Sayyed Shohadaa complex, Sayyed Nasrallah said that the Syrian takfiri factions now threaten all those who oppose them and that they even have internal fights.

"The war does not threaten the minorities, yet all the Syrians and the Lebanese, including all the sects," Sayyed Nasrallah added, "The majority of the Syrian Army soldiers are Sunnis, so it is not a sectarian war."

"Hezbollah is being falsely blamed for all the Lebanese problem due to his participation in Syria war," his eminence said, "Hezbollah will keep on his participation in Syria war despite all these accusations."

Hezbollah Secretary General asked March 14 to stop betting on ending the party's war in Syria.

"Hezbollah is not concerned with disclosing the number of his martyrs in Syria, and all who are gloating Hezbollah by launching the antagonistic propaganda disrespect the martyrs and their families."

"Our martyrs are our dignity," Sayyed Nasrallah highlighted.

"Hezbollah will not compromise the resistance and participation in Syria war for gaining power."

"Our war in Syria comes in its strategic context and does not aim at  local gains."

Sayyed Nasrallah warned against the attempts of some regional powers to attack the Lebanese security and stability because of their failure and grudge.

All the Lebanese must be aware to face this takfiri danger.

Martyr Lakkis's Murderers Will be Punished

Hezbollah Secretary General asserted that the party will punish, sooner or later, the murderers of martyr Lakkis who was one of those who sacrificed their life for the sake of the resistance.Crowds

"The murderers will not be safe wherever they are."

"We will not reveal the martyr's achievements because they are directly related to the secrets of the resistance."

Sayyed Nasrallah added that all the evidences that Hezbollah has point to the involvement of the Israeli enemy in this assassination.

"Hezbollah considers that this assassination comes in the context of the basic battle with the Israeli enemy."

Sayyed Nasrallah said that martyr Hassan Lakkis had a brilliant and innovative mind, adding that he had been a friend for a long time.

"During the war, Martyr Lakkis used to be in the battlefield as he was a responsible and creative commander."

"Martyr Hassan Lakkis who was a sacrificing, hard working, well-mannered had a great participation in the resistance's achievemnts."

"I Do Not Advice Anyone to Form De Facto Government"

Regarding the Lebanese political issues, Sayyed Nasrallah called on forming a national unity government which will be responsible for all the Lebanese. xxxx

In response to the calls to from a de facto government, Sayyed Nasrallah warned, "I do not advice anyone to form a de facto government."

Hezbollah leader considered that the presidential elections would be a great chance for the Lebanese to prove that they are sovereign when they freely elect a new president at the proper time.

"In this case, May 25th will not only be the Liberation and Resistance Day but also the real independence and sovereignty day."

All the political parties must not work to reach void in the presidency position, and Hezbollah has his strong candidate, his eminence added. 

"Should We Consider Tripoli Declaration Announcement of War?"

Hezbollah Secretary General considered that the tone of Tripoli Declaration is a serious escalation in the Lebanese political rhetoric.

Sayyed Nasrallah considered that there can be two interpretations for the declaration.

"The first is that it aims at cutting off all means of dialogue with Hezbollah and moving into a war against us, and this is a clear call to kill and exclude us."

"The second is that March 14 aims at weakening Hezbollah, yet they have to respect their public as they communicate with us after they accuse us," his eminence noted, asking March 14 to clarify the declaration because "Hezbollah does not aim at waging war against March 14, yet against the Zionist entity."

Sayyed Nasrallah addressed March 14, saying that Hezbollah does not plan for a war, yet will not accept to be messed with.

Sayyed Nasrallah called on all the parties to use a moderate political rhetoric.
 

Regarding the terrorist attacks that targeted the Lebanese army, Sayyed Nasrallah said that they are more dangerous than the other explosions which hit the country and that Hezbollah did not issue statement pertaining the attacks in order not to be accused of exploiting them.

Sayyed Nasrallah called on all the parties to protect the Lebanese army which guarantees the state, security and stability in Lebanon.
